Teeing Up a Season of Thanks
Updated: 11 minutes ago
What a night at Topgolf Roseville! Sierra Chapter members joined Vin Cay, City Engineer for the City of Lincoln, for an evening of networking, friendly competition, and support for the ACEC California Federal PAC.

A BIG thank you to Vin for joining us as our guest of honor, and of course to our sponsors whose generosity made this event possible: Diamond Sponsor and Bar Host: AECOM; Platinum Sponsors: Blackburn Consulting, Dokken Engineering, TRC, and Wood Rodgers; Gold Sponsors: Kimley-Horn and Atlas.
Your support helps the ACEC California government affairs team speak for our industry.
NO on Proposition 45
As you head to the polls on Tuesday, November 3, please join ACEC California in voting NO on Proposition 45.
While Prop 45 is promoted as a means to build faster, it would require that workers assigned to services like inspection, testing, and surveying on nearly every major public and private project be a graduate of a state-approved apprenticeship program. Under Prop 45, only about 500 inspectors would remain available to oversee nearly every project in California, creating bottlenecks, increasing costs, and undermining the benefits of CEQA reform. That means delays and higher costs for the roads, water systems, and schools our members deliver, and fewer opportunities for the small businesses that make up nearly 90% of ACEC California’s member firms.
